Pullover
animated short, 2021, 6 min
One day, it’s finally time! An old red sweater is pulled from the closet and worn through the streets of Berlin in autumn. What seems like a day of celebration for the sweater soon turns into a nightmare. After getting caught and torn, the owner sells it to a dark second hand shop. In this warm hearted story about jealousy, coffee stains, and the magic of small coincidences, the sweater wonders: “What now?”
The short film was created on my own initiative during a year long stay in Berlin. My goal was to capture the fascination of the city, its urban charm, the crisp autumn sunlight, and its many hidden corners.
