A hiker arrives at a sheltered cliff along the rugged coastline. That’s where he begins to build his new home. Time and again, wind and weather batter him and tear at his fragile shelter. Yet, driven by stubborn optimism, he rises each time, determined to face the relentless winds.

About:
“Nö!” was created during my studies at the Filmakademie
Baden-Württemberg. For this film, I took on the writing, directing, and
production. The goal was to honor the story of this little character in every
detail: just as naive, determined, and optimistic as the protagonist, the
storytelling and visual style reflect the same spirit. This led to a small,
stage-like presentation and a visual style that blends 3D with stop-motion, all
driven by the cheerful music of the band Bukahara. After its completion, the
film enjoyed a successful festival run and won several awards.
