Bernard & the Little Tiger

TV -Series in Development, 13 x 12’, Production Company: Wait a Second!

One day, Bernard, a lonely and grumpy bus driver stuck in his daily routine, has his life turned upside down by a chaotic little tiger who just won’t leave him alone! To set things right, he decides to take his rickety old bus and bring the tiger home. Together, they embark on a road trip that helps Bernard find new meaning in life and marks the beginning of a very special friendship.

About:
Suddenly, Bernard has to slam on the brakes. A little tiger stands in the middle of the crossroads, staring up at him with wide, frightened eyes. This chance encounter marks the beginning of the 3D animated series “Bernard and the Little Tiger” WT, 13 episodes of 12 minutes each.

Bernard is a bus driver who has long grown tired of his job. He grumbles at passengers, mocks traffic, and longs for nothing more than a quiet evening in front of the TV. Then, by accident, he rescues a little tiger.

The tiger is impulsive, emotional, and endlessly curious. He rummages through trash, climbs street signs, knocks things over, and refuses to leave Bernard’s side, turning his dull routine upside down.

Determined to get rid of him, Bernard drives the tiger out of town to leave him at a remote gas station. But he cannot go through with it and fails to abandon the defenseless animal. Just then, the tiger drags over a cereal box he found in the trash, showing a cartoon tiger and the Cornflakes Rock in Orange Stone National Park, the only clue to where he might belong. Faced with this sign, Bernard reluctantly decides to bring the tiger home.

He calls in sick and sets off in his rickety bus. What begins as an inconvenience becomes a heartfelt road trip full of humor and quiet melancholy. In each self contained episode, they meet new people and discover small, poetic stories of everyday life, while an overarching narrative leads them toward the Cornflakes Rock and, slowly, toward friendship.
